Приветствую всех!
У меня такой вопрос,кто что интересное подскажет буду признателен.
Мы с друзьями собираемся поехать в круиз по просторам России и ближнего зарубежья месяца на два на своих машинах,но не как не можем согласовать маршрут,если у кого уже был опыт такого путешествия,может,что посоветуете.Девчонок с собой не берем,думаем,что во все городах России с этим не будет проблем,если у кого будут рекомендации и в вопросе отдыха с девушками тоже буду признателен.

Thanks for reading the site and getting in touch. I’m not too sure what you are trying to do. If it’s promote the lyrics of a friend, all I can say is: Tell him to find a songwriting partner, preferably one with a recording contract. Lyrics are totally unusable on their own. The business can only deal in songs, ie words with music.

There are no lack of composers in Ireland! Tell him to get out more

I edited out the actual lyrics as I’m not sure posting them on a public forum is the right way to go. They were pretty good, although in a song format they would require a chorus. If anyone wants to read them, just drop a line or contact Karen directly.

Riddle me this oh wise one, how does one who has no desire to make money submit their lyrics? We’re all about social consciousness (my tribute to Bono and Ghandi). I promised an Irish buddy of mine I’d help out as far as researching, only to discover that I’m lost myself!

I’ve actually heard Mika give the real meaning of Grace Kelly. It’s actually an angry song, and was written to be so. It was written by Mika after being rejected by a record company and he went home and just wrote what was going through his head at the time.
The line about bending over etc. was to refer to him conforming to what they wanted from an ‘artist’ in order to be marketable. Hence the line “Should I bend over. Should I look older just to be put on your shelf”.
Go back and read the lyrics again, and you’ll see what it means.

I had assumed it was a bit homosexual as well. Maybe he was trying to be like Grace Kelly, the actress, which might be where the beginning line comes from (Grace Kelly movie perhaps? If you’ve never heard of her, she was popular in 50’s and 60’s, she was in Hitchcock’s “Dial M for Murder”).

Then instead of Grace he tried a little Freddy (Freddy Mercury from Queen? Lets face it, Mika does sound an awful lot like him).

I have no clue, those were just my initial connections when I first heard the song.
