This is a plug, OK? I just got news of two New Year gigs on opposite sides of the Atlantic with people using my lyrics. In New York, my pal Marka (photo) will be doing a special show at the Petite Abeille (401 East 20th St & 1st Avenue) to ring in the new year. He promises to sing “I’ve Seen Your Face Before”, a tune we cooked up not too long ago. So I’m counting on someone being there to hold him to that one!

Meanwhile, at the same time (technically), but actually about 8 hours prior to that, Sylvia Samson will be shimmering in a private gig in Holland. We did practically a whole album’s worth of material - and some pretty good stuff too, though I say so myself.

Pretty cosmopolitan, huh? If only I could hook up webcam connections. My plans for the moment are just to go up the road to a Dub/Hip-Hop event. No big shakes.
